Here is your chance to work at one of the largest OEMs in the aerospace, civil and defense industry as their Field Technician located in Savannah, GA near Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. We are seeking individuals with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience to join their team ASAP!!!Shift:* 1st: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm* On call on weekends and holidays, rotating schedule + time and a half*PAID WEEKLY WITH OVERTIME ELIGIBILITY!! OT is always voluntary and never mandatory*Innovate & Power the WorldAs the Field Technician, Level III, you will join a team of technicians supporting Business and Civil Large aviation customers in our repair station shop. In this role you will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services on aircraft engines. In this role, you will apply your experience in understanding, interpreting, and applying Service Bulletins, FAA Advisory Directives and Technical Variances when necessary.Key Accountabilities:* Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our Maintenance Operations Control* Competently disassemble, clean, re-assemble and repair engines and modules and use troubleshooting logic to identify defects in component or parts. Access and use engine data materials such as AMM, EMM, IPC, etc.* Must be able to obtain and maintain repair station inspection approvals* Must be able to work varying shifts and overtime to meet customer needs* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%* Ability to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and pass a required eye examBasic Requirements:* High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 - 4+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience OR* Associates Degree with 3+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul* FAA Airframe & Power Plant License* To be considered for this position you must be a US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident* Must have a valid US state issued drivers licensePreferred Requirements:* Prior Gas turbine engine experience* Prior customer relations experience* Engine or Aircraft logbook familiarity* Prior FAR145 repair station experience* Understanding of basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel functionalityARM - Who We Are:Well, this is the part where we're supposed to tell you why we're different.
