Description LOGISTIC SHIFT SUPERVISORYour JobGeorgia-Pacific is
seeking a Logistics Shift Supervisor at our Rincon, GA
facility.This key leadership role is responsible for the
performance and development of individual team members to deliver
on product system/ department metrics. A successful Performance
Coach candidate will exemplify MBM and will advance our culture by
ensuring their team is capable and aligned and that all employees
behave in a manner consistent with our MBM Guiding Principles. The
Logistics Shift Supervisor will work a (12) hour rotating shifts,
to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.Our Team
Georgia Pacific's Rincon facility uses state of the art innovation
and technology to manufacture tissue, towel, and napkins.What You
Will Do Lead and mentor team members to apply MBM in ways that are
consistent with our Guiding Principles.Lead team members toward
excellence in Environmental, Health, and Safety and compliance by
identifying and resolving hazards with critical and high
risks.Lead, mentor, coach and hold direct reports
accountableResponsible for product system metrics impacted by the
performance and capability of the peopleAligns asset strategies in
the product system/department and ensures that everyone has the
capability to execute the asset strategyCollaborate with
performance and capability leader, manufacturing engineers,
training and development leader, and other resources to build
capabilities of Technicians/Operators/AllocatorsEnsure all team
members have individual development plans and RRE's that are
aligned with the mill and paper machine goalsUtilize the PSQ
process consistent with the mill standardsAccountable for the labor
cost, overtime, and staffing for their teamIdentify and use
measure's (leading and lagging) that indicate how well the
operating technicians are performingWork with team members to
understand critical risks and hazards, controls, and validationsWho
You Are (Basic Qualifications)A high school diploma or GED
requiredExperience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Outlook,
Word and PowerPoint)Work eight (8) or twelve (12) hour rotating
shifts, nights, weekends, holidays and overtimeWhat Will Put You
AheadAt least two years of supervisory experience (with direct
reports) in a manufacturing, military, or industrial
environmentLeadership experience in a manufacturing environment
