Description:Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Plant Engineer for their manufacturing facility near Wilmington, NC. This position includes a sign on relocation bonus for qualified candidates.Responsibilities:*Reports directly to Plant Manager*Seeks to drive Plant performance to greater productivity levels*Develops material labor cost standards and estimates*Ultimate responsibility over 13 FTE (2 FTE supervisors) in a 2 line production facility*Assists in the development evaluation of Capital projects and other cost improvement projects*Ensures workflow of employees is proper and effective*Ensures processes and procedures are proper and effective*Provides maintenance and upgrades of production data systems*Performs special projects/studies as assignedQualifications:*5+ years of work experience within food, beverage, or any high speed/highly automated packaging/manufacturing environment*Demonstrated application of various industrial engineering techniques*Strong lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience*Perform tasks with minimal supervision and capable of handling/prioritizing several tasks at once*Extremely detail and deadline oriented*Proven CapEx project management experience in a manufacturing environment*Proven maintenance and CMMS experience*Excellent communication skills with ability to interact positively with all team members
