Job SummaryAs an Asphalt Roller Operator at CRH, you will be responsible for operating a hand roller to compact and smooth out asphalt surfaces. This involves pushing the roller and using a hand tamp or guide to ensure even compaction.Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a hand roller to compact and smooth out asphalt surfaces
  • Use a hand tamp or guide to ensure even compaction
  • Move levers, depress pedals, and turn hand wheels to control the machine
  • Drive the machine in successive overlapping passes to compact the surfaceRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of asphalt compaction and surface preparation. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
