The Charleston LGC Group site manufactures Reference Materials (RM’s) and Certified Reference Materials (CRM’s) to support the environmental, food safety, forensic, public health, petrochemical and industrial hygiene industries. The site also manufactures environmental sampling products. Job Description The Production Technician is responsible for accurately packaging products into bottles, ampoules, or other designated containers in accordance with product specifications. This includes properly sealing and labeling containers to meet quality and regulatory standards. The role also involves preparing sampling kits, pre?measured or pre?weighed vials, preservatives, and various laboratory testing supplies to support production and laboratory workflows. Roles and Responsibilities Demonstrate independence, competence and knowledge of the packaging of at least one major product line as directed by the supervisor based on business needs. Assist in maintaining finished product inventory as directed by the Supervisor and/or Team Lead. Produce and fill orders according to due dates on production list as directed by the Supervisor and/or Team Lead. Perform and follow standard operating procedures. Follow written and verbal instructions. Demonstrated ability to calibrate balances, air displacement pipettes, pipettes and bottle top dispensers. Demonstrate consistent, reliable performance. Ability to replicate specific packaging of products while maintaining a high level of product quality. Meet production goals in a timely fashion. Exemplify the LGC core values on a day-to-day basis. Perform other duties as assigned.
