Job Description:
Join Trident Health as a dedicated Medical Lab Technician within
our Laboratory Services team at Trident Hospital, South Carolina.
This vital role involves performing a variety of tests and
procedures to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating
diseases. Our lab technicians provide essential support to our
clinicians by ensuring timely and accurate test results, utilizing
state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies in a dynamic medical
environment. Conduct chemical analyses of body fluids, such as
blood and urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect
abnormalities or diseases. Collect and study blood samples to
determine morphology. Prepare samples for analysis, ensuring sample
integrity is maintained. Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment
used in quantitative or qualitative analysis. Enter data from
analysis of medical tests and clinical results into computer for
storage. Comply with Trident Health's safety and infection control
policies to maintain a safe environment. Proficient in using
laboratory equipment. Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities Ability to
maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information

(MLT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or
equivalent.
