Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time social
worker position is available to support elementary school students
in North Charleston, SC. This role involves working 10-15 hours per
week, approximately 1-2 days, providing essential social services
to a school community of around 800 students, with the possibility
of assignment to an additional school. The position is set to start
as soon as possible and will continue through May 29, 2026. Key
responsibilities include: Conducting assessments to identify
student needs and challenges Collaborating with teachers, parents,
and administrators to develop supportive interventions Providing
counseling and crisis intervention to address social, emotional, or
behavioral issues Connecting families with community resources and
services Maintaining detailed and confidential case records
Qualifications and experience: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
is required Licensure in social work preferred or in progress
Previous experience working in school settings is advantageous but
not mandatory Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability
to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively This
contracted role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact
within an elementary school environment, addressing the social and
emotional wellbeing of young students. Interested candidates who
