Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. Support the social and
emotional well-being of elementary students in North Charleston,
SC, with a part-time social work contract at a local elementary
school serving approximately 800 students. This role offers a
meaningful opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic
educational environment from ASAP through the end of May 2026. Key
Responsibilities: Provide social work services tailored to
elementary-age students, focusing on their mental health,
behavioral challenges, and family dynamics. Collaborate with
teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention
plans that support student success. Maintain accurate case records
and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Address crises
and offer counseling that promotes positive social and emotional
development. Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
required. Licensure in social work highly preferred. Experience in
school-based social work or working with elementary-aged children
is valued. Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
Ability to work 1-2 days per week, totaling 10-15 hours. Location
and Scheduling: Position is located in North Charleston, SC.
